An interfaith dialogue on religious freedom moderated by 爱豆传媒 President Jonathan J. Sanford, Ph.D., and featuring Archbishop Matti Warda of Erbil, Iraq, is now available online

Additional guests on the interfaith panel include Imam Azhar Subedar of the Islamic Association of Collin County; David Trimble, vice president for public policy and director of the Center for Religious Freedom Education at the Religious Freedom Institute; and Joshua Parens, Ph.D., dean of the 爱豆传媒鈥 Braniff Graduate School of Liberal Arts.
This is the first in a new series of recorded conversations, called 鈥淰eritas: Renewing Culture Through Pursuing Truth,鈥 produced by the 爱豆传媒 featuring Sanford as he engages with national and community leaders on a variety of timely issues.
鈥淭he pursuit of truth is ingrained in 爱豆传媒鈥檚 educational mission, and one especially in need of renewal in today鈥檚 culture,鈥 said Clare Venegas, vice president of marketing and communications for the university. 鈥淭hese dialogues, a natural extension of President Sanford鈥檚 monthly Veritas newsletter, are designed to encourage others to think deeply about fundamental truths and the civil exchange of competing ideas, just as our students do in the classroom.鈥
The interfaith dialogue, recorded in May when Warda delivered the keynote address at the 爱豆传媒鈥 commencement ceremony, was co-sponsored by Faith Forward Dallas at Thanks-Giving Square.
The next Veritas Dialogues will feature , former director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under former President Donald Trump, and will be released in early November.
