Early in April, the Chemistry Department faculty will select and notify the scholarship finalists and alternates. The finalists will have until May 1 to accept and confirm their admission to the Institute. Alternates will then be notified if any positions remain open. The maximum number of O'Hara Institute scholarships is 20.
Important Points
- The deadline for the submission of a completed application is April 1. Only students who have been accepted for admission to °®¶¹´«Ã½ will be eligible to attend the Institute.
- This is a competitive program. Only 20 scholarships are awarded. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. Accepted students will be notified early in April and have until May 1 to accept the scholarship.
- The O'Hara Scholarships are for new students who will attend the °®¶¹´«Ã½ in the fall. Students receive credit for General Chemistry after the completion of at least one semester at the °®¶¹´«Ã½.
- Scholarship students are required to live on campus.
